EAP PhotoEric Parzianello is a partner at Hubbard Snitchler & Parzianello PLC in Detroit, Michigan. His practice is concentrated in employment law and complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. A significant portion of his litigation experience has been in business break-ups, corporate and partnership dissolutions, shareholder disputes and related valuation issues. He also represents clients in business transactions including employment and non-compete agreements, buy-sell and purchase agreements and new business incorporation.  He represents such diverse clients as real estate developers, doctors and national retailers, as well as entrepreneurs involved in a broad assortment of businesses.

Eric is the author of “Protecting Your Business Information: A Primer on Confidentiality, Non-Competition and Non-Solicitation Agreements”, an e-book available through www.amazon.com.  He wrote an opinion piece for dBusiness Magazine entitled “Reverse Migration” on the revitalization of Detroit and steps new businesses need to take.  Eric also recently co-authored an article for the Michigan Bar Journal on the “4 Dos and Don’ts of Closing Arguments.”

He was recognized as among the Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit by dBusiness Magazine in its November/December 2009 issue and has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer in Super Lawyers Magazine from 2010 through 2014.

Eric received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Detroit. While there, he served as managing editor of the Michigan Business Law Journal, a publication of the State Bar of Michigan’s Business Law Section. His article, “The Regulation of Debt Collection Practices”, was published in the Third Quarter, 1988, issue of the Journal.

Aside from Michigan, he is also licensed to practice law in Florida and regularly handles client matters there. He has argued cases in the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Circuits, as well as in the Michigan Court of Appeals. Eric is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.  He is fluent in the Italian language.
